Patsy, Owner: Daughter of a military family, Patsy grew up stateside and overseas. She has one fabulous daughter, one talented and artistic son, and one patient and supportive husband, Ron. Blue Elephant came to her in a dream one night, and whispered “Richmond … Fan … shop … yessss!!” Although living in Northern Virginia, she loves Richmond’s style and warmth and is extremely happy to become part of Richmond’s community through Blue Elephant.
Jessica, Manager: Chances are you may know Jessica, or at least have two friends in common with her. This is Richmond after all. Born and raised in Northern Virginia, she fled to Richmond in hopes of better things. Like pretty architecture, scooters and mopeds, men with beards, acceptance of over sized glasses, and locally owned stores and restaurants. Once a VCU student, she now resides in Oregon Hill, rides a scooter to work, and is the manager of Blue Elephant. And she's here to help you find and sell awesome things for your home. Lucky ducks.
Ron, Husband to Patsy: Helpful and kind, Ron handles many un-fun issues like phone/internet service and computer set-up, and assists Patsy in acquiring pretty items for Blue Elephant (not as exciting as it sounds as it always seems to include a whole lot of wrapping, boxing, heavy lifting, and carrying). Half Chinese and half German American, Ron spent his early years in Pittsburgh and Philly and finds Richmond familiar in the way that many old historic cities are, and is happy to say that he considers RVA to be his home away from home.
